The Microsoft Edge Sidebar, initially codenamed "Shoreline," aimed to enhance multitasking by providing users with powerful tools and applications directly within their current browser window. The goal was to allow users to remain focused on their primary tasks without the need to open new tabs or disrupt their workflow, resulting in a more seamless and holistic web experience.

I had the pleasure of contributing to this project by working on user flows and use cases, as well as designing several of the integrated apps. The introduction of AI-powered Copilot within the Sidebar further revolutionized the user experience, significantly increasing Edge’s user base.
